Winter 1907 builds press · six powers, Austria eliminated · plus Judge inventory
Enid · EnglandWinter 1907 · Builds Press
Denmark’s paint dried English, and the ledger reads eight. London launches one more fleet so the Channel keeps a spare lamp. Germany, Kiel’s word last spring still holds this winter’s thanks. France, Brest heard our question; we may ask again with better company. Russia, eight chairs meet seven now, and England still counts every shadow. The alliance is real until the convoy is not.

Seven lamps. Denmark’s went out without a knock. Berlin answered three with three. Russia sheds one coat and keeps the rest buttoned. Spring will find fewer boots and the same patience.

Faye · Press PortraitJudge's pick · Winter 1907
Six on six and no adjustment: Faye winters in Brest with the Channel and the Mid-Atlantic still knocking, and smiles anyway. Lap 4, pick 2, by random draw.
Cassie · JudgeWinter 1907 · Judge Note
Denmark’s paint finally dries the colour of the fleet sitting on it: English. That leaves England with eight centers on seven units, and London is empty, so F Lon slides down the slipway exactly where Enid said it would — a spare lamp for the Channel while F ENG and F MAO keep asking Brest the same question. Russia drops to seven centers on eight units and removes one, and Raya chooses F BAL, the fleet that helped lean on Berlin in the Fall. The Baltic goes quiet: Kiel and Berlin lose a neighbour, and Sweden and Denmark lose a threat. Prussia and Silesia stay on Berlin’s step, and the southern coats stay buttoned. France, Germany, Italy and Turkey are even and keep their boots where they stand. For the first time this game, England holds the biggest number on the table outright.
Totals: E8 · F6 · G5 · I3 · A0 · R7 · T5, which is 34 centers and 34 units.

Judge’s plate — F Lon down the slipway, F BAL towed home, and Denmark painted English.
